THE BUJINKAN

The Bujinkan(Divine Warrior Training Hall) is the international organization founded by Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi to pass on his nine historic schools of ancient Japanese warrior-ship. The Bujinkan's headquarters is in Noda-shi, Japan where Soke Hatsumi resides as the direct lineal head to these martial lineages. These arts predate the common and more modern arts such as Karate, Judo, Aikido, Tae Kwon Do, and Brazilian Jiu-jutsu. Our arts are untouched by rules and religion and were designed for the exclusive use of the aristocratic warrior class. These methods were then honed through several generations of intense conflict into the most sophisticated and efficient systems of combat known.

The training in the Bujinkan is non-competitive and is focused on the skills, strategies, and philosophies refined through the feudal Japan era; specifically the arts of the samurai, and their subclass, the ninja. In the Bujinkan Dojo students learn to deal with physical conflict through natural body mechanics and superior positioning, making our art suitable for anyone regardless of age, sex, or size. From these movements a complete balance of martial art abilities are learned, encompassing a full unarmed fighting method as well as an unparalleled degree of weapon training. These arts are perfectly suited for real life application and have been used by military and law enforcement agencies on five continents. Through proper integration of the training and teachings, the student becomes a stronger, more powerful, capable individual who can survive and thrive through adversity.
